Hello!  Thank you for viewing my profile – I love to make connections!  I am a licensed real estate agent and business owner.  Born and raised in Michigan, I am a true Michigander at heart.  I love Michigan’s beauty in all of the seasons and its abundant natural resources!  However, with half of my family living in Florida for over 28 years, I have well-established roots there and plan to become licensed in that state as well.

I am a veteran of the United States Army where I served for 4 years, stationed overseas in Germany, as a paralegal for 1st Infantry Division Judge Advocate General Corp.  After being honorably discharged and receiving many awards to include the Army Commendation Medal, I earned my B.A from Grand Valley State University and started working in Michigan’s public schools.  From that experience, I moved into a public service position for the State of Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and worked in that role for over 11 years earning many awards to include an Employee Recognition Coin of Excellence.

I started my Real Estate career after working as a Marketing Manager for a home remodeling company.  I discovered that I enjoy the excitement of the sales and marketing fields much more than sitting at a desk all day!  I am also a huge HGTV fan and thought that being my own boss in such a fascinating field would be an exciting next step for me.  My family and I started our own remodeling company called: We Love to Remodel LLC.  My goal for this company and for my real estate career is to be able to provide more options, opportunities and benefits to my clients.

I enjoy practicing yoga, reading, walking and watching a good TV series or movie with my cat on my lap.  Eating healthy and being active are very important parts of my daily life that I like to share to be encouraging to others.  I am married and have 3 boys (all grown men now) and I love spending time with them.  We crave exploration and adventure and do that together by taking at least one unique vacation a year.  We also love board games and have been known to get very competitive!
